Flash Player for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. Because their future is unclear, the development of Flash for the iPhone , ipod touch and iPad finally stopped. Adobe gave up and announced that they’ll pull all the investment plans to bring Flash on devices made by Apple.
“The main purpose of Flash is to support development in all browsers, platforms, and devices. This is very contrary to the Apple’s . They wanted to force the developers to use only their platform and limit the choices so that makes its difficult to run on other platforms,” said Mike Chambers, product manager Adobe Flash Development, in his blog.
Adobe’s decision to appear not long after Apple released new rules for agreement iPhone developers. Applications on the iPhone and iPad must be made with the programming language that is permitted by Apple, they are C + + or Objective C. If implemented, the rule will disable all applications that currently use the code for the iPhone artificial Packager to run Adobe Flash.
Bad relations between Apple and Adobe’s Flash triggered the problem. Apple CEO Steve Jobs said Apple had even seriously lazy for not developing Flash for homemade platforms.
