As the Christmas is nearing and the people all around US are busy planning their vacation Google has got some surprise gift for you during this vacation period as you travel across the country. Yes Google is offering free internet through wifi in around 47 major airports in US till jan 15 2010.

If you think your flight is getting delayed for any reason then you shouldn’t be much bothered about it as you can access the internet through your smart phones and notebooks and keep connected to your friends and family while you are waiting for your flight. So why Google gives out this offer in this point of time?

Well its simple its a way to promote their search engine and other products they offer and similar strategies has been followed by Microsoft already to promote their latest search engine Bing. But you shouldn’t be much bothered by these marketing strategies, we get free internet and digging in to why do they have to give out this offer is little too much for us to be bothered about in my opinion.
