We have seen a previous case of attack on jail broken iphones from a kid from Netherlands who apparently felt bad later and gave away the instructions to get your iphone back to factory settings later on and now its not a wonder that some anonymous guy from Australia is already spreading this worm attack on iphones in Australia who have jail broken their iphones and haven’t changed their SSH default password. This time the worm changes the phone background picture to Rick Astley and it tries to spread itself to other iphones on your network. It was already highly expected that similar incidents will happen on other parts of the world as soon as the information about how the guy from Netherland has used this vulnerabilty in phones spreads across internet and I am not really wondered to its already in action in Australia. So if you are an iphone user just make sure to change your default SSH password “alpine” to something else to protect yourself from this wide spreading worm.
